Our approach
We prioritize a conversational approach, ensuring that each lesson focuses on real-world communication. This builds confidence and helps students apply English effectively in a variety of contexts, whether in the workplace, academic or in everyday life.
In addition to individual lessons, we offer small group courses where students can engage in collaborative learning while receiving personalized attention. With a maximum of 8 students per group, each participant has the opportunity to interact and grow significantly.
Unlike traditional methods that focus on memorizing rules, our approach is based on real communication from day one. Whether you are preparing for an exam, improving your business English or preparing for university, our method ensures that you can speak, understand and use English effectively in real situations.
About me
Hi, I'm Emma Haimes, the only teacher at Haimes English. As a native English speaker, I have always had a deep passion for languages and communication, which led me to become an English teacher. Before teaching, I worked for several years as a flight attendant, which allowed me to travel the world and experience different cultures. It was through these experiences that I developed a love for teaching English and helping others connect with different cultures.
I have a degree in Education from London and TEFL and Advanced TEFL certifications, specialising in exam preparation. I am currently studying for a Masters in Language Sciences from Parma, which further enriches my teaching methods and helps me stay up to date with the latest advances in language acquisition.
