Summary of Progress

Over the course of three months, Harvey has shown consistent dedication and excellent progress in his study of Italian. Through regular online lessons conducted via Google Meet, he developed a strong foundation in key vocabulary, grammar, and basic conversation skills.

A particularly valuable part of this course was the 1-week period of real-life language immersion in Italy (23rd–30th May), which took place midway through the programme. During this time, he was able to actively use his Italian in everyday situations — ordering food and drinks, making simple requests in shops, and responding to basic questions. This immersion significantly boosted his confidence, fluency, and motivation, reinforcing everything he had been learning in lessons.

• Ordering food and drinks in cafés, restaurants, and shops

• Vocabulary sets: food, classroom objects, family, colours, emotions
